Laurel Lueders is a visual artist who has shown her photo-based prints and site-specific installations in solo and group exhibitions internationally for over 25 years. She is the recipient of numerous grants, fellowships, awards, and artist residencies. She is Full Professor and Chair of the Visual Studies Department at LIM College in New York, NY. Laurel holds an MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York, NY and an MS in Design Studies (Installation Art) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Most recently, her work was represented in the Paxos Biennale, Manifesto of Memory, in Paxos, Greece and was featured in a two person exhibition with Fukuko Harris, Underfoot and Overtones: Fragments in Form and Spectrum, at Pocket Utopia in New York, NY. She lives and works in NYC and Berlin/Potsdam, Germany.
